Any of our 'up North' members go to this "Bikers on the Beach" monthly event ? At Kirkaldy they had about 350 bikers there !!! This came from the BBC news page.
Never heard of it Dave, even although kirkcaldy is only about 50 miles from me So i googled it and it started 3 years ago,I'm not into large ride outs plus it's held on Sundays which i tend to avoid, but i might pop down some time just out of curiosity ,i occasionally go there for a night time run in the summer.
Dougie I’m ashamed to admit I only heard about this at the weekend, when one of my mates was talking about it. I thought it was the racing they had on the beach over the last couple of years, which I have never managed to make. I’m like you, I’m not a fan fan of riding in big groups. I prefer either by myself or out with my mates. Next time your coming down give me a shout and I try to meet up with you.
Spent many a night parked up in my wagon on the docks at Kirkaldy prior to tipping a load of wheat at Hutchisons flour mill next morning. That was over 30 years ago FFS, but I still remember it very well.
