The Perils Of A Good Deed

Was playing golf yesterday. A playing partner hit ball into wooded undergrowth. Being the kind, considerate person that I am, I assisted in the search for said lost ball. Well bugger me, I got bitten/stung(not sure which) on my right forearm. Then bugger me again I got bitten on the left forearm. Never known anything like it! My normal forearms approx 20cm in diameter, now 33! I look like Popeye. It is very uncomfortable, doc has put me on anti-boitics. What good deeds have you done that backfired on you?
