There’s an annual pilgrimage that’s been going to Blackpool for years.
There’s also a lot of scooter boys around these parts anyway so it’s common to see groups of them with a blue haze following them :p
I used to work with a guy who restored old Vespas and Lambrettas who’s now retired and does them full time. There are some beautifully finished bikes around; not really my thing but I can appreciate the work.

Yep still a lot of the scooter boy's around. I guess it is not surprising when there are so many bikers still around. Each to their own eh!

Some nice machine's there. Lucky you weren't stuck behind them on your bike. I was once when we were on a ride through London. Can't remember the cause but I had to pull over the smog was killing me.
    Regards
    Joe.

Last year whilst in the Peak District we stopped at Grindleford Station Cafe for a brew and about 20 scooters arrived en mass and the riders all wore period type parkas.

I thought they were supposed to go to Brighton and have fisticuffs with the Rockers, which by the way Billy I put you down for

Bit old for the Brighton tear up now Glyn!

These days it is all very friendly at the Ace Cafe Rockers reunion at Brighton, it is a great spectacle to see all the Mods & Rockers on original machines & matching gear.

Once sat in a carpark in D&G, with a big group of SV650 owners, when about 50 Scooterists turned up. What a nice bunch of lads. Came straight over and chatting about where we/they were going, bikes etc.

Some of them boys do ludicrous miles on them wee wheels of theirs, doing 1000's of miles a year to attend the rallies. We at least can cruise at over 50 mph and have lovely warm Gore-Tex clothing. They do it in parka's and a pair of sta-press !!!
