I've been bugging a seller at the dealer to test ride a classic , any model
a few months went by as they did not have demos available
last week I got a message from the seller asking when I wanted to try a speed twin 900, made an appointment.
When I arrived the motorcycle had been given to a customer that brought his ride for service and there was no other demo ...
After a lot of apologies for the misunderstanding they offered to deliver the demo to my home, and we arranged for another date.
Yesterday the Triumph van arrived with a Boneville T100
    What a comfortable ride
    Easy to handle
I was weary of the single disk in front, I experienced no problem at all
Took it on a twisty road near my house, and it performed great
    Love the sound !
Took it back to the dealer through the city traffic, it is easier to filter
The tires are Michelin road classic and the handling was great

Do you think you'll add one to your garage?

T100 is underrated, I took one down Ireland, 300 mile days on bumpy roads, tight twistys and big sweepers,". It was the perfect tool for the job and fun and comfortable (comfort seat is a must)!

    300 miles !
    thanks for the reply
Last night after the riding the T100 I was wondering why did I initially bought the Tiger, it is a trend of the market to have an adventure motorcycle , but the Bonneville is a lot friendlier at least for my use and for my physic

Sounds like your initial impression of the T100 was very positive, Armando! :) Do you still also have an interest in the Speed Twin 900? I've never ridden one but I've sat on them a few times and that model always piques my interest. Good luck with your decision! Please let us know what it is. :)

Sounds like you had a great experience with the Bonneville T100. Comfortable, easy to handle, and great performance on twisty roads and in city traffic. The Michelin road classic tires definitely contribute to the excellent handling. Enjoy your rides.

I always wonder the same. Follows a similar trend in the automotive world I suppose. Most adventure bikes make halfway decent touring bikes, but never see any real dirt. I use a dual sport for the dirt (DRZ400), and street bikes for the street (Speed Triple and Ducati SS). I tend to favor more focused bikes, vs. the "do everything" machines.

Last month I was on a self-guided tour through Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy with Adriatic Moto Tours. Everyone else in my group was on adventure bikes - I was the only one on a naked sportbike, and to me it was much more fun and manageable on those tight mountain and coastal roads. There was only one section on a Croatian expressway where a fairing might have been a tiny bit more comfortable, but that was only 30 minutes of an 8-day tour.
