Temporary Instruction Permit.

Well, With this stop everything at all costs. My DMV is closed until further notice. So my ability to get a temporary permit that is good for 180 days is not happening. I can't sign up for any third party classes because there are none scheduled until further notice. I'm out of luck until this blows it's self out I guess. The new1200XC has been setting since late Oct. This blows!

Yes, that does suck for sure, I assume you've been riding dirt bikes up until now and never needed a street license. Been riding 50 years and got an mc license in 1973, had to redo the mc testing last summer when the DMV messed up on a renewal at my expense. Some of my state agencies are now realizing they can't just shut down without putting the general public at risk, and undue hardship, while they go out for a stroll in the park while still getting paid.

Even though it's from a few years back, those frustrations are timeless, huh? Reminds me of when I had a similar snag with paperwork way back when. Funny how some things never change, like the DMV being closed at the most inconvenient times.

Back then, I didn't know about https://dmvlist.com/ – wish I did! Could've saved me some stress. Anyway, hope things worked out for you eventually. Thanks for sharing your experience – it's good to know we're not alone in these struggles, even if it's from a few years ago.
