Hello, new to this site, I picked up my Tiger 900 GT Pro on June 8th 2020, first Triumph and over the moon with it. However, new model and therefore new ground with regard to what accessories fit. Currently looking for a tanklock mounting for a probably GIVi 4 l. tankbag (or any other tried and tested kit anyone might have had good experience with) and would like to know if the tank fill surround for fitting such is the same as for recent Tiger 800 models as I havent seen any 900 specific mounting kits specified. Aby guidance on this would be most welcome - thank you. Guy
Can't guarantee it, but I've used the same tanklock kit on 4 different Triumphs with no problem, so I'd suspect the 900 is probably the same.
I've put a SW Motech one on my 900 Rally Pro which fits fine. One point to note however, the tank filler in situated far forward on the tank, and even with the tank bag positioned as far to the rear as the mount will allow, I still have to remove the tank bag to insert or remove the ignition key. Sightly annoying .
