I’m fitting a Tec tail tidy to my Speed Twin and was wondering about a smaller number plate, 8x6
Can I get the numbers and letters to fit if they are the correct size?
    Hope this isn’t to controversial

Yes you can, although The plate is a non legal size the letters can be a legal size but the spacing won’t be quite legal either,

If you get one made be sure to add the numbers shown on the bottom of your legal plate. Allegedly some bored coppers (mainly in Wales) use the missing BS numbers to justify fines I think it's BS145d and the postcode of the plate maker

Bought a rear plate from this firm

    https://www.jdmplates.co.uk

Got the web page from a thread on the forum. Comes with a card with a declaration of conformity. Looks good on the back of my Street Twin.

Looks great that Stramasher, I’ve discided to go for a legal plate from JDM plates .the last time I fitted a small plate to a bike I got done within weeks.

Completely understand! My bike does not get used everyday plus hardly see any cops here and even rarer on the type of roads I go for a boogie on.

    I'm obviously a vain bassa too. :D
