    Hi there
I have a 1978 t140v, it starts and runs OK for about 20 mls , If I have to stop at traffic lights etc the engine shuts down and won't start for about 10 minutes. All I do after that is try and get home without stopping.
Anybody any idea what I should do to check out what my problem could be.
    Cheers Dave

I`d start with coils as they tend to break down when warm?

Welcome to the family. Yes coils could be the culprit or ignition system. And check the fuel system is delivering enough to keep it going and there is no leaks there. Check your spark plugs see what colour they are burning and choke is not sticking on.
    Joe.

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum  as others have said, if it starts again after a short time (15-30mins) it will usually be coils. They will eventually go as the internal fracture widens :p
