After cleaning my carbs back in the year and not being totally happy with them i have splashed out on some new ones and will have the original old ones refurbed at a later date. Spent some time cleaning the motor and all the bits i didnt do when i fitted the rear tyre ready for tappet adjustment and fitting new carbs tomorrow :)

Why would you want a modern bike when you can do that to a classic bike :)
I know which one I would rather have :)

    (Don’t tell NUDGER :p)

I progressed onto new bikes in the early 70's when i started earning a bit of dosh and loved the speed of the new bikes so the old bikes became a hobby/fun thing, now the newer bikes just don't excite me so much as they used to lol. The joy of getting older and confused :worried:

Lol, blasting is great when things are in pieces but no fun on a built bike, but after 10 years use collecting a few stains it had to be done. If only you asked earlier , unfortunately i have rekindled my love of old bikes in the last few years.
