Has anyone fitted the "Royal" (King and Queen) seat to the T120/T100 and if so have what do you think of it. Contacted the local dealer and will only order if purchased and having been very disappointed with Triumph aftermarket seats in the past this is not something that I would do.

If it's this one I have fitted, it is very comfortable, I have the standard seat as well which I'm about to try as a comparison.

[IMG] Tried out the standard seat, and whilst it's a vast improvement over my T100 seat, it hasn't got the same level of comfort as the Royal seat.

Is this the origin of the expression, "a royal pain in the arse".

May I ask, does it add height compared to the standard seat?

Hiya, I have 2 x bonnie's with the Triumph king n queen seat fitted, they are both very comfortable, a big improvement and give a little more seat height, I bought both of ebay at a cost of £45 and £75

Since we're talking seats, how about the Low Comfort, SKU A2304333? Stepped like the King & Queen, but smooth and, um, low for the rider.

The wife-on-a-pillion issue is a tough one for me and the missus. Her head has to be higher than mine. If the Low Comfort works for us, I can use the standard seat except when she rides. Then again, I suppose she could just sit on the standard seat with a couple of gel pads to raise her up.

Hello, just came across this when searching for information on the King Queen Royal seat for the new T120's.
I want a better seat but not that many to select from at present.
Is this one similar to the King Queen seat for the 900 Thruxtons and that series? I have one of those but it wont fit the T120.
If you could, can you measure the width of the passenger seat at its widest point? I am looking at around 12-1/2 inches width which would be good,,,better support than the narrow stock seat.
.. As far as the comfort ,,how many miles can you ride before getting the squirms? Or, in hours at a time? Can you do 350--500 miles a day without discomfort?
Thanks for any information you care to reply.

    Does a 2002 or 2003 T100 seat fit a 2013 bike?

Bought the seat anyway, at the price (£55). Fits well enough, no mods needed.

Much more comfortable than the original 2013 “ironing board”. Haven’t ridden for more than an hour yet, but feels much better. It does increase the seat height slightly and I’m not tall (5’8”) but don’t find this a problem.

Just been out on a VMCC Section run, about 1 3/4 hours in the saddle to lunch stop, followed by 40mins straight up the A15 to get home.

Seat very comfortable. Windscreen just the job, deflected wind without buffeting helmet, speeds up to 80mph. No “foot down” issues for 5’8” rider.

    Good job all round!

Good seats but I do hate those buttons. Every where you go the seat has puddles on it and eventually the buttons come of or the foam is all mushy.
    Regards
    Joe.

All buttoned seats suffer from that, more or less. I carry a Tesco bag and tuck it in the seat strap, for parking on wet days
