    Hi fellas

    Batteries fine
    Its getting fuel
I'm thinking spark, just dont have a correct tool to take the plug out :worried: have any of you boys/girls had the same problem? Running fine then nothing!

Wiggle the cable from the starter button, where it goes onto the headlamp.
    Works on mine! :joy:

Try a loose plug on the ht caps see if there is spark.

    Regards & Happy Christmas.

Everythings spot on, the bike was running for about 5 minutes, sounded as normal (sweet as a nut), then cut out.

I had a wrong thread on a battery bolt, after 2 minutes it would slacken. I did it up and 2 minutes later slack again.

I'd check easy things like the sidestand switch before digging deep. Pull the boot and clean out any crud. Just an idea.

Just a follow up post, the Cps has broke on the thunderbird, bike started first time and ran great until i switched it off, then wouldnt start after it warmed up.
Took the cps off and tested it, its knackered, so ordered a replacement part. :)

Good you found your problem. Easy enough to fix. Over the years my biggest "gremlin" with these bikes has been poor quality ignition coils. That is always the first place my head goes when I have problems. ...J.D.
