    Just renewed the Bonnie insurance through Swinton.
    They offered me a renewal quote of £107.57 - I told them I would be taking the Acumen alarm off the bike - it made it go up by £3.00. (worth it to be rid of it).
    Told them I got a quote of £86.00 from Bennetts and they just knocked £25.00 off. Fair enough I think.

    Swintons quoted me £375 for my thruxton. I told them it was too much they said they couldn't drop it so I went elsewhere. It's a mystery how these companies work. Got it from Hastings in the end. Still a lot more than you paid

    Bare in mind it depends what these quoted figures represent : Fully Comp? TPFT? Third Party only? How much is the excess?

    The details really do matter.

    This was fully comp, 2 years no claims, £400.00 total excess (£250.00 compulsory), garaged overnight.

    Try the Bike insurer, although having said that I compared the bike insurer against compare the market and saved about £20.
