Suzuki Gt750's

My mates got one in bits in his garage.
He can't afford to rebuild it but he won't sell it, paid £150 for it.

 

I had 1 about '78, great bike, had it about 9 months then the chain broke and smashed the casing, they were big bits luckily that Araldited back together nicely, held foe atleast another 3 months before I px'ed it for a Honda.
Wish I still had it now too!

p.s. RR I'd give him £250 cash no questions!

 

He's been offered a lot more than that for it

 

I see one quite regularly around Lichfield. A mates mate had one in the late 70's when we were on our GT250's. I'd love one, or a 380 or a 550..

I had a GT380, well until the middle pot seized.
Great acceleration not great in corners.

 

Now we're all a bit older the GT gets ridden with a bit more care not like I'd have ridden her at 17 so middle pot should be ok

 

I used to own one.

 

Here's my old Suzi, bought new from Nelson & Ford, Basildon, alas I think this is all that remains, cant find any trace on line.
I'd love to find she's sitting in a cardboard box or even complete in a barn or garage some-where, but a slim chance!
Cant find any of the kettle, I know I didn't take many, but strange they've all gone.
