As the title suggests. Any experiences good and bad?

In my experience as a glasses-wearer, comfort varies from helmet to helmet. One thing that helps is to make sure you have glasses with the right arm length for your head (denoted by the last of the three size-related numbers).

That aside, no reason not to wear them IMO, just don't go for dinky little ones or you'll get wind in the eyes when your visor's up.

Oakleys... expensive, but I’ve had my pair for over ten years now and the lenses are just starting to get a little irritating few scratches in the line of site... but I am a little obsessive with looking after them... fit is also important, I’ve ridden with some which felt and looked good, but .5 mile down the road I’ve had to change them because the wind rush was making my eyes water all the time

Oakley lens testing... quite interesting... I would debate some of the optics issues because all our eyes are different (it ain’t gonna harm anything though) , but impact was the main reason for my purchase.

I used Oakley's until I had to go onto prescription glasses.

I bought some bobster photochromatic sunglasses, the light sensitivity was good, just remember they’re not dark all the time!! But the problem is they have foam round them which gives you nil vision when checking over your shoulders unless you’re a contortionist. I cut the foam away around the offending edge but now there is a draft that comes through and makes me eyes water

You can mate, as long as you can arrange a small mortgage to buy them :joy::joy:

I use a photosensitive pin lock. No sunglasses to loose. Tinted when sunny clear when dull.

Ive been using these for years. They fit under the helmet, come in light and dark tint and come in bifocals. polycarbonate safety type. They are cheap but well made. I have several pairs, and none have ever broken.

There are numerous helmets on the market today with internal sun visors fitted. Both my current Shoei Air and LS2 helmets have them fitted. I still need to wear my glasses though otherwise I would not be able to see where I was going ;)

Same. Expensive but worth it not to have to stop and change my normal prescription specs for sunnies.

Thanks for posting the link, they do look good :). I've currently got a set of Puma sports frames with my prescription lenses in them. They have very slim bars that fit in my helmet really well..

Wiley X they are ballistic so stones etc wont penetrate, have a wind gasket, headband if required, polarised if required and generally top bananas. I have the Tide model Uttings often have them on sale around £100-150

The gorgeous George Clooney look a like below is sporting the Tide with gold polarised lenses and the brown frame

I only.use them with my open face helmet. When it is really hot, I cannot tolerate a closed helmet. Mine are prescription optics. ...J.D.
