Think it's about time we had a ride out because we can!! Any one fancy a play on Sunday 17th July?
Meet up at the 'Oil can cafe' at Jackson bridge HD91AF Holmfirth West Yorkshire. It's a bit of a museum/workshop/cafe with automobilia every where.

Meet at 11am and enjoy one of the most mouth watering breakfasts money can buy then ride out possibly towards Holme moss (the summit used in the tour de Yorkshire)
    image.jpg
then Glossop then over to Bakewell in the High peaks. All subject to the obvious!! I'll be on my modern Bonneville btw. Eric

Could be tempted, but SWMBO is having a 'lumpectomy' on Tuesday, so I may be doing my carer bit! Could be a long haul! :( Shit happens! :(:(

Any more interest before the morning as it seems bad timing for most?

Nice one!! Every cloud has a silver lining!! :)

I would never have associated Holmfirth with wine production! 'Tis strange the things that are virtually on your doorstep, but about which you know nothing!! To make matters worse, the Holmfirth area is my ancestral home, on my father's side!:eek:

Thats very interesting Steve, its a small world as they say. Back to the wine now, its only a recent thing over here as it was started in 2008 and its also the highest vineyard above sea level in the uk. I'm not a wine connoisseur although the wine was truly pukka and needs to be on the radar.

Hi Eric, I'd like to look into this vineyard a bit more - do you have some details so I can find them on the 'net.

I quite like the idea of drinking Yorkshire rouge - with some good, old Cheddar.
