got my missis this for her bike, Webbs of Lincoln thanks for the usual fast delivery not really a fiddly job, but triumph could have made it easier, and the guard is plastic !!! looks great on her bike too befor n after pics
thank you, its actually my missis bike, its a triumph guard and bezel, think 65 with post, but if your after a whole headlight, they would work out 200 plus
I fitted the triumph guard and bezel as well, about the same price. Mine said that you have to remove the lense cap to comply with road regulations. Not sure if that's a new thing, or they realised it blocked too much light. The good thing is that I plan to get get most grey parts powder coated in black and the black bezel has saved one!
noooo dont remove the lens cap, who told you that? exactly what are they meaning? the glass? or the small deflection shield inside? either way no leave it, as long as your beam pattern covers the legal size your fine, and the plastic outer protector wont alter that, its too close to the light.
There were detailed instructions with the bezel and grill, it is the little triangular Triumph logo one just in front of the bulb. https://www.triumphinstructions.com/default.aspx
beerkat, the wrap is staying, its a nostalgic take, wont even damage the headers as they are stainless, and the bikes not one that only gets ridden in dry summer either, nor does it get washed often!
notso, the bike and grill is sold all across the world, and some countries have different views on "headlight blockers" not just on bikes but all vehicles, this you dont need to do in the uk that link didnt work either, even with part number in
Well ok, if you insist. I was thinking of the aesthetics rather than the practical. How about getting rid of those silly mirrors in favour of bar end ones? The ridiculously expensive Triumph bar ends are good but there's a lot of choice.
Are you trying to turn this into your bike mate If we all liked the same it would be a pretty boring place
You're right of course, it is good thing we don't all have the same taste. If I had mastered the art of posting pics I would show you my Street Twin so you could comment on the changes I've made. But I use a Mac, plus I'm IT incompetent, so I'm still working on it.
