Hi all, I know I haven't been the most prolific poster of threads, I tend to read watch and digest what others are posting. However my 2018. (Mk1) Street Twin has now gone to pastures anew. It had the recall for the "Headstock tidy" done before I took delivery of it but that failed and I had to have a new wiring harness in July last year completed by my local Triumph Dealer. This was a "goodwill gesture" from Triumph. However the new harness was starting to feel cramped and I could see pinch marks so I decided to sell it. Therefore I have a couple of bits that I have now got for sale. I will list them in the For Sale section. I will stay and watch the forum even though I now do not have a Triumph.
I don't think there are any rules for being part of TTF but if there were I expect they've be along the lines of 'Owns, or has owned, a Triumph at some point. Or is thinking about buying one. Probably. Or just likes 'em.'
Ian650 O'h yes we will. If it has two wheels then we will love it. As long as you don't leave us here in the asylum. Joe.
Ian650 That's a nice machine. I to like the colour its got two wheels and it is a BMW. can't go wrong there. But do stay with us here in the family and tell us all how you get on with the bike. We don't want to lose you and choice of bike is personal and we respect all machines. Joe.
Done about 300 miles so far. Love the TAG, love the linear power, won't set your heart rate pumping but pretty rapid away from the lights. Comfortable and can carry stuff with out my back pack. Repooh ...get your own Pizza . Ian
Don't blame you Ian - if it floats your boat that's all that matters. When I started wandering the manufacturer sites over the Chrimbo break I lingered for a while on the X-ADV page when wondering which Honda I'd go for. Looks comfy, integral luggage space, 750cc, DCT gearbox, similar looks to yours.
As if. It wouldn't be the same without you. Anyway, I suspect most of us got over our silly bike predjudices some time ago.
