Street Triple R Or Street Triple Rs In 2025

I had same kinda dilemma,I wanted the white bike so was only given one option,so ordered the R.Whilst waiting for delivery i started to look at the specs of the Rs.So I ended up changing the order and settling on the metallic silver.plus I hate the dash on the R.Ends up dealer let me down badly,cancelled the Street triple and after that bought a 900 gt pro .
But if i was in your position again I'd go with the RS everytime.

 

@DaveR2403 Welcome to the family. There is not a vast difference between the two performance not that you will notice anyway. Sometimes you can haggle a deal with a aftermarket can added if it is a deal breaker.

 

There is "only" a $2k difference between the R and RS. + $5k is R vs Moto2. I went with the '24 RS as I felt the tune, suspension and brakes are a worthy upgrade. Plus I love the Cosmic Yellow!

If you can afford easily the +5k go for the RS. If not, take the R and individualise it completely in your aim and "needs". I think you will save some money for future nice trips with it.

 

Ive had this sort of choice twice. I got a 675 rather than a 675r because i felt that my riding capabilities / style didnt require a more expensive suspension. Especially as I have no desire to do track days. The same sort of thoughts came through when i was buying a Honda. Do you need the "extras" that come as standard on the Rs or are you better off putting it towards your own Farkles

 

Na, buy the rs.worth it for the brakes, mirrors,tft etc, you will regret it later.Also it's worth more at resale.

 

Its always personal choice. I've got a 2024 RS and I had a 2017 RS which my son now owns, but my Aprilia Tuono V4 is the RR version not the Factory spec. I like the RS but I've said on another thread, the TFT is unnecessarily complex IMHO. The suspension is good though and the brakes.
