    BE1F43F5-F9F6-4DD9-BF37-14374AD1E03D.jpeg Evening!

I live up in Aberdeen and it’s f*cking brutal on the Street RS when I hit over 60mph on most days, the wind from the sea can make it a bit much. Hopped on a Suzuki GSX and the difference was something else. Didn’t much like the seating position so Iv came up with a plan.
Daytona fairings on my much loved Street RS. Has anyone else done this? Think it would be simple to do?

I saw this one posted by a dealership but jings they are pricing it a bit high at £14k

Welcome to the Family. Lovely bike but yes a little pricey. But it's only money compared to smiles so the choice is yours.

You can do anything just need the get up and go. You can get race Fairings. When I talk to my boy I will ask him if they do them with lights and such. Then you just get them sprayed to your choice.
    Regards
    Joe.

I think it looks brilliant, would happily wait for a Daytona 765 but it’s not looking promising. Absolutely love the street so think this would be the best way forward, Been on google searching for hints and tips, very nearly bought a full fairing kit for a Daytona but with my luck I decided to bottle it

You only live once mate. If you can achieve a smile that lasts longer than a day. Then it's money well spent. Live every day to the full.
    Regards
    Joe.

I am after a street triple at the moment and have seen this one for sale. It looks amazing but £14k is very steep, surely you could get the necessary add ones for less that that.

The bike was done by my local dealer (they also did a 1050 a couple of yeaars ago) and has substantial mods which they do to order incuding decat, SC projects exhaust, PC5 and dynod at 138 at the wheel. Also registered as new for the first owner. I'm pretty sure they will do just clip ons and fairing mods for somewhat less, after all the PC5 and exhaust are well over a grand,.

    Welcome Hoffnungslos!

Fairing on the pic looks stunning.
Your avatar does too: is it your family-crest?

Oh and since I am feeling pretty wrung out myself these days, we have a saying: Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt... ;)

    Greetings, Daniel

I think the fairings look brilliant on the street but I’m a little biased as I love the Daytona look. The fairings make a huge difference though, up here the wind off the nakeds is just awful,

Hope you’re looking forward to summer riding Daniel :)

The one in the picture is sold, but they will build to order and your spec.

This is the conversion they did on the Speed Triple 1050 a couple of years ago.

    That looks smart!!

Sadly they won’t sell the fairings, heard back from them midweek

Associated British Motorcycles are releasing fairings now for the street triple and they are to be mounted on with the Motoholder subframes, currently at the preorder stage. I’m a little dubious on the road legality of the headlight cover design so waiting to see product images before I order anything :)
