Only just get my Thunderbird in my 8x6 shed. It's really tight. Word the thoughts on buying a expensive outdoor cover?
Never been an issue for me, and mine’s a cheap, POS hand-me-down. Weather where I’m at is fairly dynamic but nothing too extreme. High 20’s to high 90’s F depending on the season, commonly on the humid side
I used to keep mine under a ‘waterproof’ cover outside. The moisture got underneath it and trapped there.
Reckon you've got room for one of these in that garden of yours https://www.shedstore.co.uk/6x10-pa...zDn_Z2AxDUuhQDEaV9BRcbFosEnMsliUaAp8UEALw_wcB
Yeah dude, I know. You can kind of tell where you're at seeing how's it's clearly stated below your username. Been there several times. Your point?
If your bike's in salt air, all bets are off. You need a fully enclosed garage, preferably with some kind of climate control, and a good wash and rinse frequently. I lived w/in 2 miles of the ocean for years when I had my Harley. Wrecked havoc on the aluminum even worse than the chrome. Looking back I should've given it a rinse-down every time I rode it. I probably spent $200 a year on Mother's and steel wool.
Currently having the house and garage extended so needed alternative storage solutions for my bikes, one of them is in this https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-cis788-motorcycle-shelter-shed-m/ Fastened it down on the patio, ground anchors in too and reckon is a good solution. A well designed piece of kit
The point is.... Our weather is usually on the wet side and wet plus cold plus condensation equals rust. Just letting the previous response know our weather is crap.
Simonjohn I got the answer bring them around my place and i will keep them in motion for you. Got anything tasty. Joe
