I recently picked up a '17 Street Scrambler with about 2k miles on it. Love it!! I have a question for other scrambler owners. Every morning after I turn the key on and flip the switch to run, the bike makes a squealing noise. Is this normal? It only seems to do it in the mornings.

Fuel pump priming? . . . or is it a different squeal?

That was my first thought...just wasn't sure if that was normal for this bike?

I’ve got a 19 Street Scrambler and previously had an 18 plate SS which would be your model and neither made me think there was a problem as you describe. The start up ‘chatter’ is just the bike getting itself organised as far as I think.

Don't wake it up so early. But no they all do that as Clivedee said it's the bike setting itself up and reading the commands and priming the pump. It's when it doesn't do it is when you should worry.

Thanks all! I figured it was normal but just wanted to double check!
