Not me, but then I’ve only done about 300 miles on it.

Yes. My dealer fitted a new wheel, discs and pads to cure it. 5,000+ miles and all is well.

That seems like a lot of work to a new bike but if it cures it then I'd be happy

Triumph told me that cleaning the pads with brake cleaner stops it.

Seems a lot cheaper to them than changing front wheel caliper and pads, it's been back twice to no avail due back in Tuesday

My dealer did that first and it didn't work.

Squeaking is typically caused by vibration of the pads as the rotor spins past the pads, since some suffer and some dont it maybe an accumulation of manufacturing tolerances, or a free floating rotor button seized. Try inserting something tapered firmly into the buttons and see if you can twist the buttons, or move them side to side.

The speed twin discs have bobbins which force the inner and outer rotor to align against the underside of the bobbin heads. Any debris that finds its way under there creates run-out where previously there may have been none and could be a cause or these problems.
Pushing and rotating the bobbins from behind whilst spray cleaning from the front them may prove to be the most fruitful method in the long run to keep things running optimally, but it certainly won't cure problems caused by a badly machined (disc) mounting surface.

Thanks for that, dealer had it for a few hours yesterday. Reported back that they'd rectified some mis-alignment ?? Obviously it may be spring when I find out if it's cured unless we have a freak winter

Update: Been to my local dealer this morning to collect my Speed Twin after brake light switch failure. He tells me that Triumph are developing a different pad compound to cure the squeal. Hopefully this will be a recall for all of us, rather than just fitting to bikes on the production line......

And so triumph should. I cannot believe it has taken so long for them to admit that the brakes are a problem. I hope all owners get the fix under warranty sooner rather than later.

I was told by the technical at hinkley that "if" and when they come up with a solution all owners will be contacted. Unfortunately it's been a problem to me for months only had the 1st month without issue and i don't like being fobbed off so I'll be waving goodbye to the twin on Monday

A shame another customer lost for the triumph brand.

Loved the bikes looks and ride loads of good comments but the brake noise was embarrassing and annoying and I thought the way triumph were dealing with me wasn't good enough
