    Hi all,
I have a chance to change my 06 plate 1050 sprint ST for the newer 1050 sprint GT.
i have read a lot of the pros and cons, especially the upgrades for the pillion.
My main concern is the leg room... my ST is just about OK, but i know they have lowered the seat a bit on the GT.
has any one changed from ST to GT, if so your thoughts?
    Many thanks in advance...

Hi all, thank you for all the reply's
I may be should of made my question a little clearer.
Has any one changed from ST to GT, if so your thoughts?
I had no intention of buying a bike without a thorough test ride i just wanted the opinion of a rider who has had the ST and then changed to the GT.
I am the upper side of the big 50 and have been riding motor cycles for over 30 years, so the idea of changing without testing makes me chuckle also..
I just don't know any body personally who has made the above swap to have an in-depth chat to about the pros and cons...
I have also been busy lifting the leg over many other option's, including the tiger range, which is a very varied range of late..lol

Thank you all again for taking the time to reply...

kindest regards Gary, from not so sunny Scarborough...;)
