my bike got knocked over whilst the engine was running, the engine cut out but will now not start. on a previous bike i owned, the same thing happened and it was an easy fix of turning the key 3 times then starting.
does anyone know how to solve this problem with my sprint

Hi Garry and welcome in :)

I can't answer your question, but I'm sure someone who can will be along soon. I hope there wasn't too much damage

Just check it is not something irritatingly simple like the clutch switch in the lever. It may be damaged or the wire yanked.
The tip over switch should simply re-set itself once vertical again.

Clutch lever on LH bar contains a small isolation cut out switch to ensure you start in neutral or with clutch depressed. If it is disabled so too is your ignition circuit.
Look in the web when you depress the lever.

Kickstand also has switch, might have knocked the wires off

First welcome to the Family. Ad do hit the upload a file button at the bottom right and show us the beastie. Yes check the safety switch's both clutch and side stand make sure they function properly. Also you should have a tilt sensor somewhere around the headlamp area make sure that is good, Sometimes it works if you disconnect your battery say for about an hour. Charge it while its of then try again. Do keep us in the loop as to going ons
    Regards & Ride Safe
