With winter nearly over and having serviced all our bikes over the last few months today i have been busy giving them a final check over and a little ride just to make sure they are ready to go in the next few weeks.
They are a credit to you Mr Darkman. Just a joy to behold in the sunshine. I bet you and Su are proud as punch, well done.
Yes we both are There was a reason for doing it today as i had my jab booked this evening and i'm one of those people that when they get anxious also get excited so the bikes kept me level most of the day luckily and it worked out well as by the time i got down the BIC i was buzzing me tits off and luckily the staff noticed and i got fast tracked, so now i'm back home calming down with a cuppa lol.
Bikes look great and glad you got your jab too,. Waiting for my turn, should be soon for this 64yr old.
Same age as you so you should be soon as most areas are ahead and starting to work down in years to 60 apparently
I think I had it back last year so hope its moderate to zilch effect other than sore arm which is near definite if its Pfizer one, think its to do with storage temp!! A minus 40-60 deg liquid being forced into a a warm muscle has a strange effect on it.
A few more jobs done as i noted a few glitches the other day on road test, first was replace the front rocker box shaft seal on the TR6C as it had a dribble so i turned the engine over until the ex cam was rocking and removed the rocker shaft, fitted the new seal and popped it back in and the second was the T120R was a bit sluggish on starting, didn't really notice it when i fitted the new carbs a while ago so i rechecked the pilot jets and decided to go up a size and that has cured that problem.
