Hey y'all - Bonneville newbie here. A month in and loving it. Woke up to 38F/3C degree weather this morning, found some old ski trousers and headed out for a spin. Took a bit of cranking to get the carbs to catch in the cold and then when up to speed a loud screechy racket from the front end. Brakes fine, engine solid, nothing rubbing. I suspect a defective speedo cable, that maybe didn't like the cold. Sounds awful! Nothing to worry about or replace? Easy fix? Your advice welcome, as always...........Yank in distress
Welcome aboard WCB, hope you enjoy the forum, Bonny owners on here will no doubt be along shortly to hopefully give you an insight into what it might be, my advice would be to leave the bike in the garage when that cold, brrrr.
