    I've whined to everyone else, so i'll fucking well whine here too . . . . .

88mph, on a rural 60 mph B road miles from anywhere, Sunday am, on a previously clean licence

Courts have just hit me with 6 points and a £448 fine. I feel like I've been fisted. twice.

    6 points! ouch!

    Why 6 not 3??

I'm sure in your fisting analogy the first fisting would hurt more than the second. I'm sure Bry will be able to clear that up.

Dunno, nor do I know why the fine was so high.

I'll await for Bry to clear up the rectal damage analogy - is this his field of expertise?

Bloody hell that's a bit steep. Trouble is you are only 2 mph away from being in ban territory as I believe 30mph over is classed as reckless; guess that's why they have thrown 6 points at you.
Prepare to be fisted for a third time when you tell your insurance on renewal: frown:

I get the 6 points but that fine is steep, I got hit £500 when I was banned for 28 days a few years back, I was doing way over the 6 point speeding region blasting it just before the NSL sign in a 30...

Unlucky mate, that's a bit of a fisting for sure!

Also, I think you'll need to notify your insurance now of the offence otherwise it might be void in this year period if you have an accident, I doubt it will cost you any extra though....my ban didn't increase my current policy costs and only slightly affected the renewal....

Come on boys, a bit heavy on the fisting references, especially when neither of you have even bought me a drink!
