Hello folks, After a year and a bit of ownership it was finally time to sort the bits Triumph skimped on, on an otherwise fantastically fun bike, the boingy bits. Ended up going with K-Tec Tracker front cartridge kit and Razor Lite at the back. Fitted & set up by ERS Racing. (Shocks are DIY, fork kit not for sale to hammer wielding nuggets like me) I'm 103kg kitted and on Rosso III's. Unfortunately the tyres in particular the front are gubbed so a pair of PR5's is next on the to do list. So I still have some "interesting" handling traits. Whats it like? "Night & day. Planted." Lol. Thats what folk always say innit? What is immediately apparent is the quality of the damping at various speeds then noticed I can use those great brakes in anger, lovely. Not had a chance to go for a decent 200mile run (on nice rubber) to fine tune the clickers (pre-load has been set) but hope to find the "sketchiness" gone and the bike more controlled/composed. Anywayz, pics:
Glad you are experiencing a positive result with your upgrade. Once my Ktec suspension was bedded in I found I was able to soften everything to the point that I get a smoother ride but not so soft that the bike loses any sure footedness. Just never had any ability to adjust anything with the original set OEM stuff, way too firm for my weight.
I switched to Conti Road Attack 3s and they have made a significant difference. Rear shocks are next and then front coil changes!
