BACK STORY: I'm in Charlotte NC, and a bit over a year ago, I bought a brand-new Street Twin 900 Chrome Edition and set out to do some basic cosmetic upgrades like tail tidy, LEDs, seat, etc. This bike is so much better than the Yamaha XSR700 it replaced, it's not a fair fight.

But I've learned that I'm not all that keen to gear up for every ride in the thick humidity of the SE USA, and the "ride or die" mentality is a thing of my youth. So the bike mainly collects dust in my garage.

Having said all that, anybody want to buy a lightly-used ST900 Chrome Edition

Babied since new - never run at wide open throttle; never redlined

Triumph is truly the quintessential British motorcycle. In the dictionary listing for motorcycle, they should have a picture of this bike as emblematic of what a proper motorcycle should look like. If it's good enough for Steve McQueen, it might be too good for most of us. But fortunately, I have have this distinctive bike with a few understated upgrades to distinguish it from the average Triumph Speed Twin 900.
