Today I accompanied my wife  to a test ride of the new Speed Twin 1200.
After half an hour she came back.very satisfied and we had a financial chat with our beloved dealer.
He will take back her Yamaha XSR 900 and exchange it to a white model of the new Speed Twin 1200. My wife ordered some Triumph addons. Heat grips, crash bars, a tank pad and an cover for the oil system. In a few days we will be able to pick it up.;)
Now.my wife is back to her beloved 1200 ccm engine which she had in her former Bonnie. But this time with additional power!

Arriving back at the dealer after her first trial. You miss her smile on the photo! ;):D

    Hello!
Great choice of bikes! I traded my MT-10SP for a speed twin 1200. I wanted to slow down a bit but still have some good exceleration. The speed twin does just that. LOVE IT!

    She did it!
Yesterday my wife  made her decision and had a fruitful telephone call with our dealer and ordered her new bike!
It will be a white Triumph Speed Twin 1200 with some add-ons.
    - heated grips
    - original crash bars
    - cruise control
    - tank pad
In about one week the bike should be available with all papers.;)
The dealer will also take her Yamaha XSR 900. Therefore she has only to pay the difference between the two bikes.
During the call a funny situation occurred.
The dealer asked her about the milage off the Yamaha. After she told him +24.000 km the dealer was a bit speechless. :D "You bought the Yamaha last year in May in our store and now +24.000 km ?!?" Some seconds of silence followed. :p"Yes, that's us. We use our bikes intensive." - Now we are looking forward to receive her new bike.

Congratulations to your wife on her new bike!! I bet she can't wait to receive it - I love her colour choice . It's always weird when people are surprised at putting high mileage on a motorcycle - like you both, we have ours to ride them, often!

    Fantastic!

I have lusted over the speed twin 1200 for a long time, but the local roads are not kind to a bike with not much suspension travel.

Mi current bike is 9 months old and has 32,000 km

The tiger took a long time to sell , mostly due to the number of km , 3 yr old bike with 66000km

That is what bikes are for, right?

@Markus It looks a beautiful bike. Just love that colour scheme. And @MrsMarkus. Do enjoy the new toy. You will have to keep the old man of it in case he gets it dirty.
