Speed Triple Rs Wheel Rim Stripe Removal

    Hi guys
    Just bought a new speed triple rs in matt black with the day glow green decals which I don't like but only colour left so getting it re sprayed but my question is, the green stripe on the wheels seems to be lacquered over, any tips/advice on how to remove it?

    I bought black wheel stripe for mine and put it on top. So can be put back to standard. Mine was lacquered I think. I put insulation tape over the stickers but mine is mat black with red and silver ..
