Hello Folks, I’m away to put a deposit down for a Speed RS but I am torn between the two colours. Initially I said Matt black hands down but the white has grown on me. Just wondering what your opinions are of the two colours and people that own the bikes if you wouldn’t mind posting pics of their prized possessions to see which can win my vote. Need to get this decision made it’s driving me nuts!! If they did a Matt Grey like my 17 plate speed R it would be in that colour. Cheers
I am very happy with my black Rs.a bit of extra CF plus tail tidy. I have blacked out the stripes too for the stealth look . Having said that the white looks great against CF too
I ordered the black but then swapped to white after seeing it at the Excel bike show. The 2016 that it replaced was matt graphite, and I decided that I wanted something that responded to a bit of polishing. White wouldn't have been my choice either, but I love it ...and with my son's Daytona 675R which is Phantom Black (metallic).
Richard will confirm, but I think he covered them up. I noticed in the showroom the other day, that the black decals can be peeled off, but the white decals are covered by the clear coat, so are permanent.

i had a matt black bike after a while it starts to look a bit shabby so i polished it regularly and it does take on a shine not as much as a gloss paint but it looked much better than the matt black
Hi I have not fully committed yet .... So I stuck electrical tape over them initially to see. But the stickers definitely look like they can (and will) be peeled off. The wheel stripes are laquered over so would need painting or black stripes ..
Well guys I went in to buy a white one and ended up buying a black one Thanks for all the help, ordered the following. Evo tech oil and rad guard Evo tech tail tidy Heated grips Shift assist but on back order until mid July Looking to see what low boy exhaust become available as love the SC Project on my Speed R.
