    Hello folks,
Its been three weeks now as I own a Speed Triple R and start to know the bike better. So far I loved everything about the bike until todays ride home.
The front end wobbles on high speeds or when I push bike hard in a straight line. I tried different roads, released preasure from handle bars and let wheels to find it piste, applied more pressure to a front end but nothing solves the wobble unless I slow down and ease the throttle.
I newer experience that on sport bikes and start to think about aerodynamics of the bike or suspension settings. The bike has fully adjustable Öhlins front and back even with factory settings bike should run smoothly an any surface....or shouldn’t???
Has any of you experienced similar problems and fix the issue by adjusting suspension or the problem in something else?

    Thanks

Checked you tyre and pressures. Wheel balance. Has the fork had a service lately so many things can upset the geometry of the front if it is not right but certainly should not be wobbling. There is something not playing. Do check the lot from straight wheel tyre and tyre fitting pressure even disc's rubbing and come back to us but ride carefully. You get that front end wrong and there is only one result.

    Joe.

it shouldn't do that at any speed, could be as simple as tyre pressure or the wheel alignment needs checked, whatever it is I would get it checked out

What you decribe is similar to what I felt on my street triple, only felt it when accelerating at higher speeds, a wheel weight had dropped off the front.

    Thanks for advise chaps
I probably start with easiest things as tires pressure and balance also wheels alignment...
I am wearing Mitcheling Pilot road 4gt tyres i wonder if they are not compatible

Aaahhaaa might be your front tyre out of shape, thats happened to me before as well, due to not enough air pressure when it's been stood for a few month.
Take ya wheel off and get it looked at by a specialist matey.

When I got the bike it has nearly new fitted tyres, but scrolling through the history it hasnt been riddent for a few years, I believe it’s quite possible that after docking for a long time tyres misshaped, definitely will check

One step at a time misshaped tyres and pressure first.
    How much do you weigh?

You May well have answered your own question. If the bike was laid up check the tyres have not gone hard. Those bike like the tyres to be supple so they warm up quickly. Most of the other bits are worth looking at aswel as things need redoing every couple of years like grease and oils.

So standard set up is quite close to right for you, at least not enough to make that much difference.

    Thanks Joe,
I bought the bike from Triumph dealer with 3 months warranty they also checked and serviced the bike before sale...obviously thinking about tits but no the job they were doing :)
Already checked the head bearing and it feels fine, no wheel weights been lost either. So it must be mishaped tyres or wheels alignment. I will speak with salesman tomorrow and ask for a full check. I believe dealer do it for free, especially if the bike still on warranty, but not sure if they could replace tyre free of charge

I was riding cbr600 before and had random wobble now and again on a high speeds and it was gone after second or less, but this one shows that something is definitely wrong :(

    Ok,
    Checked tyre preasure:
Front: 30psi which is 6 psi underinflated
Rear: 40psi which is 2psi underinflated

I would say preasure okish, but I will pump them up to 36/42

I would suggest setting the suspension to the settings in the manual. It's a five minute job and at least you could then rule that out, it's the first thing I did with my 2017 Speed Triple R
