Speed triple r 2012 oil level question

Help needed please. I have found the first and only thing I don't really like about the speed triple, it's not much but bugs me all the same lol. It's not a car so why oh why do I have to use a badly designed dipstick to check the oil unlike the usual and very easy to use sight glass. Anyway moan over. All I need to know please is where are the markers for sufficient oil on the dipstick? On the bottom there are two x's then a groove just under a centimetre long, now my guess is between the groove but I would hate to overfill so feel the need to ask first. Presently the oil barely covers the first x on the dipstick and I'm guessing that's not good.

Ok done some surfing and found my answer. Glad I did or would have over filled.

Yes the full owners manual is online. Basically check oil level with bike vertical, after wiping screw the dipstick fully home then back out. The correct full level will be at the top of the xxx hatchings at the base of the dipstick. Anywhere on that hatching area is a safe level but if its only just registering on the first x then you need to add a little.
