finally my project is starting!! I'll try to update this post on the run till the final result! my 2003 Speed Triple 955i is now receiving a marvelous Kit S, like these: for those who don't know the Kit S was an idea of the italian triumph and harley importer Carlo Talamo. he decided to create a series of 5 special bikes with the short tail based on the 2002-2004 speed triples, then the idea was brought at triumph management and the lines of the first 1050 series were born. after the very rare series of five bikes every one of different color, few replicas were produced and are still very rare to find. in the late 2016 I found one of these kits and now finally I started to fit it.
The work on the bike is proceeding slowly I 'm taking advantage of dismounting everything to change some worn hoses and remake some wiring connection that were not weel done such as turn signals...... I made just a fitting test of all the parts end everything seems ok, just the saddle needs new leather and it's a bit fatty for my taste......
It's not a race. Doing things properly is what counts. I see what you mean with the seat, really marginal but there.
Hi all, it took to me some times due to changing job place a couple of times in 2 years, but finally my lady is ready to tlrun again, and it actually does it properly and , in my opinion whit an amazing look!! Here's a couple of pic.
