Hi everyone I'm new to the forum and have just bought a triumph speed triple 1050 2005 which I have fallen in love with, I was thinking of giving up biking after a long illness but this bike has renewed my love for riding. Just wondering how others monitor their fuel as it doesn't seem to have a gauge

Hi George  I suspect it will at least have a low fuel light for when you reach reserve. Fill up, reset your trip, ride til the light comes on. That will give you an indication of range then just reset the trip each time you refuel, job done ;)

It should have a low fuel warning light but when I had my 2005 Speed Triple I would reset the trip to zero each time I filled up. I then knew when it was close to the light coming on which if I remember was about 120 miles? It should be good for about another 30 miles after the light comes on?

Welcome to the family. Yes a nice bike and like others have said should have the low fuel light. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates your new love.
    Joe.

Hi George and welcome to the forum  any bike that gets you enthused to ride again is the best :p fuel gauges are estimated at best, so advice to use trip setting for mileage is standard and you have a reserve :sun: enjoy and post us a ride pic if possible
