Hello! It has become more and more clear now that all isn't as it should. She boggs when you give her a bit too much throttle on low to mid revs in higher gears. She also doesn't seem to want to rev out in the higher gears. What should I do? I have a couple of GPR slipons fitted but the bogging seems to be present with stock silencers as well. I'll change the airfilter next but I guess a new tune would be the way to go. Is this something you leave to a tuner or can you buy something yourself, like a power commander? Best regards Jesper
If it was running correctly before, pc-v or tune wouldn't be my first resolution, the bike is 15 years old. Air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel contamination, injectors, valve adjustment, sensors, check for intake cracks or vacuum hose leaks, throttle body balance, throttle body gasket, coil packs, cylinder compression ... hopefully someone else chimes in with better 2006 specific hunches.
