    Hi,

I’ve removed the baffles from my arrow euro 4 exhaust on my 2018 speed Triple rs, what’s your opinion on the re-learning ecu? Should I get the ecu remapped or is the current dealer arrow map right for the bike?

The noise from the exhaust is unbelievable it’s so much louder and deeper. I’m not getting any popping or backfiring. I’m just not sure it’s as punchy?? Or is it I’m getting used to the tourque?

    Obliged ; )

Hi Andy, there's every likelyhood that you did have better mid-range torque with the baffles in. Taking the baffles out encourages the engine to run a bit more lean.
A re-map or Power Commander will counteract that effect and bring back the torque.

You need to get it to somewhere like Hilltops for remapping, should get the torque back and more :p

How easy was it to remove the baffles?

*just seen the other thread, doesn't look like it's an easy job then.....

    Hi,
Have a 2006 955i with a Demon Carbon slip on exhaust, bike runs okay I guess. However, Baffle out and yup you’ve guessed it popping on deceleration. Also have to keep it much higher revs to prevent it from spluttering. I prefer the baffle out so people can hear me coming as I filter etc.
I realise there are already re-maps available via ECU tune but can anyone that’s experienced it recommend an available map that is available please?
    Thank you
    Stu

Has anyone tried just shortening the baffles rather than removing? I used to have a CBR600RR with a Micron can. The baffles were only about an inch long. Knocked down the sound a bit but better torque than baffles out.
