Hi all, I'm wanting to change my tyres soon. I've seen these on eBay, What do you think. I'm mainly using my bike for commuting, and as I've only recently passed my test I wont be racing round just yet. Also what would you expect a tyre fitter to charge. £154 for pair. Thank you for your advice.

I think to get continentals for that sort of money seems quite cheep so well worth a go. Not got a huge amount of experience of different brands of tyre though.

Also just be carful for a few miles while they are new, they will be slippery until you wear them in!

I've had my tyres changed today, Bridgestone, Same as the ones that were on the bike. I was advised not to go for the others.£225 fitted, so didn't think that was too bad, The tyre guy did say take it easy for 100 miles or so. Took my bike out for a quick spin and the bike did feel different.:upyeah:
