Does not seem to be showing yet but according to the dealer who have finally rebuilt my Speed 400 there will be a recall on bikes due to the cam adjuster failing and wrecking my engine back in September.

I wonder if it covers the Scrambler too? Will have to keep my ears open.

From what I've seen when I drop into the Triumph 400 forum occasionally (don't know why, I sold mine!), this is not a recall, it is a technical bulletin, or something like that.

This seems to mean that the tensioner and cam chain will be checked at service and if out of whack the new design tensioner will be fitted (an easy bolt on item). If the chain has been affected it is obviously a lot more work.....

It affects all (2024?) 400's and if you have any doubts drop into your dealer because they won't contact you when it is not a recall.

Here are a couple of pics from 500 forum - tensioner is viewed from left side after removing a trim panel?

This may let you check if your bike already has the updated unit.
