Hi all, Removed the rear pegs off of my 14 plate Speed, it has undertail pipes and has a hanger that bolts in behind the peg hanger. Now I've removed the peg hanger and replaced the bolts there's a decent gap meaning the exhaust hanger isn't being held in place solidly. Anyone solved this issue? I was thinking of finding some spacers or I guess, shorter bolts?
You can see below, the bolts are in as far as they go but the top part of the hanger is loose and not held in place by them.
How many turns did you get on the bolts before they bottomed out? If say, 5 or more then should can cut down existing to size or fit shorter bolts, or even fit spacers
Yeah found the spec on another forum M8x1.25x15mm, original are 35mm and the hangers are 20mm thick, in case someone comes across this in the future! Thanks for the Screwfix tip, I'll pop in on the way home!
