Just firmed up the details for a little bimble down to the south of France - Avignon/Nice/Fréjus and onward to Italy and the Barolo region.

Heading off next Friday for a week.

    Can't wait...................................................................!!!!!!!

Sounds like it's close to your heart Ken?

I'm going with my Tiger and a couple of pals in my mate's Ural sidecar outfit.

Yes mate, I must admit that I feel blessed indeed. I was recently reminded how lucky I am during my 65 birthday celebrations.

Went over that pass in 2008 on my 1250 Bandit, it was a little chilly even though it was June!

It's epic down here. Plenty of twisty's the whole way through. See if you can get to:

    Gorges du Vesubie
    Col du Turini
    Col St Martin
    Co de Braus
    Olivetta-San Michele

    Enjoy

We set off this morning, had breakfast at Pat à Pain in Guéret then headed South East, through Clermond Ferrand, Le Puy en Velay but instead of continuing south our Creative Director decide that North East would be much better - straight into a storm. This was particularly frustrating as we travelled through beautiful (but very wet) with excellent motorcycling roads (if it had been dry.

Arrived at hotel at approx 21:00hrs, dumped our gear and headed off for refreshments in the forms of steaks and Leffe beer !!

Three farty old bastids sharing the same room - should nice and peaceful then...................................................:worried::p:mask::eek:

Well I slept well after a very pleasant dinner - apparently though I snore - So They Say !!!

Showered, about to be breakfasted and then head off along the Mediterranean coast for Italy.

    Speaks later..................................
