    Hi everyone,

I'm sure I was on here years ago but can't remember log in details, so I'm back.
I've ridden a Sprint ST since 2002 when I bought an ex demo model with all of 186 miles on it. Kept that for 12 years until it got written off by a 19 year myoptic idiot driver within 50 yards of my house.
I replaced it with a Gen1 Sprint ST with low mileage with the insurance money.
Had a back operation a few years back so I'm not able to ride far these days but I still commute most days on the Sprint.
Now due an MOT and suddenly having idling issues. Can't download TUNEECU or get it to work from my phone, so stuck (see post in "Technical Help").
On the side I break/repair/sell older Japanese bikes so know my way around a carburettor. Fuel injection and ECUs are all new to me though.

    John

Welcome to the family. Don't go doing anything rash yet. Get a good carb and injector cleaner someone here on the home page suggested one. You have a great bike and even if you have to take it to a Triumph dealer and get it tuned and mot'd you will still come out tops. What is the miles on the bike and has it sat idle all things that help us to help you. Also hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show of the steed.
    Joe.

    Hi Joe,

    Thank you for the reply.
I have cleaned everything with carb cleaner.
Today I checked everything I could think of, again. I'm now pretty certain it's not a mechanical fault.
I tried again with the android tuneecu app, nothing doing.
But, I have succeeded in downloading the windows version via the lonelec website and it connected to the bike, yay!
Ran out of time so I'll be back on it at the weekend. I suspect TPS needs resetting, if I can work out how to do that.
I'll upload a photo soon, not got one to hand.

    Cheers, John

Hello, John, and welcome (back) to the forum. Glad you're starting to get the bike issues squared away and, as Joe said, others on here will most likely be quite helpful in your efforts to do that. Also as Joe suggested, please post a pic or two of your Sprint. We love photos! :)

How do I upload a photo, the option I can find is to take a photo. I'm not near the bike and it's not in its best clobber atm!

    Hi,

I don't see "upload a file" bottom right on my phone. There are icons above this text box now, one of which looks like a photo bit if I click on it it asks for "url name" and doesn't give me an option to select a photo.
I know I'm a bit slow with technology bit I can usually get there in the end. Any ideas?

Look for the upload a file button, which is below the post reply button. Follow the instructions

OK, I can do it through documents, but I haven't got a pic of my bike. D'oh!
