Something I've not heard for years.......................

I'm loving Ardrossan, took Incpot down to the beach this afternoon, and heard a sound I've not heard since I was pre-yoof!
A ships FOG HORN!!!
It was well out towards Arran, I didn't know ships still had and used them, with radar and all that, last time I heard one was at Canvey, in the Thames mouth, must have been late 60's early 70's.
Arhhhh, nostalgia!
Sorting out the fishing places next week, hoping to go next week-end.
We'll see how Incpot takes to that!
