Hi All, Got my tuono up for sale, 2019 factory 5,700 miles all the usual bits, Full service history and extended 2 year warranty till May 2023. £12,500, cheapest factory with active suspension.
Hey Johne, It's a monster! Love it but looking to do more touring so not the best suited. Changing for bmw r1250rs but can't keep both!
I had a similar problem. I agree the Tuono isn't really a touring bike, but rather than sell mine I've kept it and bought a VFR800 Honda to do the touring for less than £2k.
I have been looking at a vfr800 too, suppose it would only cost me 2k for the vfr800. I'll keep looking, I do love the tuono!
They are cheap as chips at the moment Moe. I don't really know why. They haven't been 'discovered' yet by the classic bike brigade perhaps? Too new at only 20 odd years I guess. Give them another 5 or ten years and I'm sure that will change.
Forgive the hijack-VFR800 is a top bike. And @johne I still have the red pillion seat cowling if you're lacking such an item. Just have a ride down and fetch it.
It's tempting but I'm also a bit of a fairy, like the mod cons. Will try have a look tomorrow. Got a local bloke who may do a swap for his rs so off tomorrow to see what's what.
Hey Johne, looking for your advice on the below? https://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans...ampaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_android
Evening all, just bumping this up as I've bought a r1250rs so the tuono has to go, I've edited the first post with updated price. If I don't sell privately it'll be part exchanged. Open to offers. Many thanks!
