Just jerry rigged a DIY solar charger for the bike i recently fitter our gun club range benches/shed with a solar panel to charge up the battery's for the LED lighting so as i had an extra solar panel and a converter i thought with a south facing garden it would be ideal to rig up a panel on the shed roof and then i could charge the bike battery in situ'e seems to work very well on a couple of defunct battery's just waiting for the plugs and sockets to fit to the bikes battery box so i can just plug it in may do the same for the car as i will just need a long length of wire.
