Went up to Hypertraxx electric motocross bikes the other week. My youngest went out for a shot on the wee ones and loved it. Came back and has constantly been on at me to take her out on the pit bike, we have in the garage.
SO Sun was out today and alternative was shopping so off we went. Never ridden a geared bike before, so it took a good hour off inching along, feet down and feathering the clutcch. One fall, a few tears, but after a coupleof hours she was away. Felt a bit rotten making her wipe away snot andd teasr and get on with it, but she did.

Didn't even complain at having to wash and dry bike before it went back.

That both my girls can ride. Eldest coming up to 17 and a total petrolhead, more into cars, but thats OK. Once she has road skills, she can come back to bikes. She even has her own personal plate already !!!! Can't wait for me to get autotest cars done, so she can go grass auto-testing in the spring.

Yeah it's a M2R 110cc four stroke, copy of a Honda c90 engine, reliable as hell. Paid £450 delivered. Had it 5 years, all ever needed was wheel bearings and spark plug. USD forks, discs, manual 4 speed box (all up, which is weird) great thing for the money.
I bomb around on it too, easily takes my weight. Great fun.

Nice one. So matching bike and bike gear at some point in the near future then. That's going to get costly ;)

Nah, all that gear was handed down from big sis. The acerbis boots were bought brand new off ebay, for £1.00 delivered (he wasn't a happy seller). Trailing eBay and local Facebook ads get cheap gear for kids, as they grow out of it so quickly.

My son and me had some great times riding off road together. His first bike was a KX60 and after a couple of years he was racing in schoolboy mx and when he turned 16 we rode enduros together for a couple of years. A very special time for both of us. Enjoy it while it lasts;)

Oh she likes the horse's too, but we take her to a rescue centre to help out. Just make a contribution at the end, cheapest horse riding lessons going!! :D

Got a day off today, she's just asked if we can go out again!!!! :)

Our son is only 20 months old but reading this and looking at the pics makes me look forward to doing similar things with him in the years to come.

He's already obsessed with motorbikes and stops and points at any he sees and tries to say 'motorbike' but comes out as 'bi-chu'

When I'm out working on the bike he gets his plastic tool kit and wants to help. Even let him sit on the Thruxton and we rev it, he loves it!

This is my son Joe aged 6:)
Used to take him and his mate to a mini moto club ran by Durham Police
It was part of their Bikewise scheme and was a fantastic idea to stop kids killing themselves under buses etc
We went for about 3 - 4yrs before his football team went 11aside and training and fixtures clashed :(
He's now 18yrs old and has recently passed his driving test so that's gonna cost me god knows what for his first car
Still very proud of him.....he's a fine young man

After that we'll see about getting his own car and insurance but I know it's not gonna be cheap o_O

That's less than half the price of my workmates insurance on an Audi A6, he,s 21 and loves cars
My nephew pays £357 a month for an Audi A6 2.0 TDI , so his mother won't take any money from his wages and pays for everything he needs, then he moans about it, I got nowt from my parents and had to work for everything I got when I left school, kid's these days don't know how lucky they are.

My daughter was £1200 for her MGZR, black box and restricted to 10k miles. Bank of dad stood for that, and she pays me £110 X 11months to pay it off at 0% Apr. Company APR was ridiculous, robbin feckers. Charge them a fortune, then screw them for paying monthly:mad:

No, that's the rally clock. She inputs the car number, then sets the clock going and I then filled in their start time cards, before the lights set them off. Clever system .
