My first Hinckley Triumph - I prefer to forget the Meridan one I had in the 80s. Plan on using it as a summer toy and occasional track day tool while keeping my GS as workhorse and winter ride. Thanks for the warm welcome folks. Getting some new rubber on the 'silver machine', crash bungs etc, and will report back on how I find it. And might take it down Mallory at the start of Sept, but will wait to see what the weather looks like first DS
Nice looking tona you have there, welcome in. I too had a meriden monster in 1978, the hinckley bikes bear no resemblance in any way thank god, especially in the reliability stakes

Always liked the look of that bike, and a few times over the years, my finger has hovered over the 'Bid' button. There have been some nice looking examples, but never owned one. I'd be interested in how you get on with it.
