Owner's handbook states full synthetic 5W30...anyone like/find she likes one better than others? Many thanks for anyone who answers.
My 1995 Daytona 1200 calls for full synth 5W-40 and I would use any "known brand". I have never felt the difference in any bike before or after an oil change either. Some might feel a difference with the clutch action but that is about it (but I have never). As long as it meets the Triumph Spec it is good enough for me. Some things can be over-thought.
Thank you, friend! I am running MOTUL pure synthetic 10W30 (7100 series) and HIFILTRO oil filters, and so far, so great. She runs like a banshee. Engine runs smooth and pulls very hard, even in top gear on a roll. Gearbox is a little clunky until the oil gets really on the boil. Once warm, the gearbox is a 9/10. Very "click-y", not "clunk-y". I'm not easily impressed, but get out your paint brush and color me as so.
