I removed the pillion seat, saddle bags, hangers & sissy bar today as i was bored just to see what the America would look like.... Hmmm... I love it however im not looking forward to telling the wife that she cant ride pillion anymore.... View attachment 2229 View attachment 2230 View attachment 2231 View attachment 2232
Also fitted a stem nut clock so i can calculate my 0-30mph times.... View attachment 2233 View attachment 2234 Cant work out the 0-60mph times as (a) i dont ride that fast  and (b) it would need a calendar & there is nowhere to mount it
Well they were quite rare to find on ebay at the time & i didnt want to wait so decided to bite the bullet & buy it from Triumph About £100 i think it was complete with fitting kit & wiring harness (which isnt needed anyway).
Yep think it looks better... Just need to chrome the wheels up now and Bling on..... Slowly...of course...
Funny you should say that i have been looking into getting the wheels chromed or similar with no luck as yet
Cant seem to find a local company that will do them, seems most arent interested in chroming alloy wheels however apparently you can get a chrome effect powder coating done but would need to see it in the flesh first to check how shiny it is. All the places ive seen so far on google that do motorcycle alloys are in the U.S
What about polishing? Must admit I have not actually asked to get anything chromed so can't comment. There are a few companies down my way that Chrome & powder coat but can't say I'm an expert...
Hmmm.... Thats also a possibility but would need a good few coats of decent lacquer afterwards otherwise i will never get time to ride it with all that cleaning & polishing  The factory lacquer thats already on them isnt that great & is showing signs of nastiness already
But I have found this company that will do it if you done mind sending them off...... Alloy Wheel Chroming
Scotland? If i cant find anywhere local i think i will wait until the winter when it wont be used so that i dont lose any me time!
It was the first site that came up when I searched.... Anyway definitely a winter job... Or get 2 bikes so you can still play.... You may be able to borrow your boys Monkey bike...
